- karmakaze 4y agoIs FT a good source of this sort of news? I suppose it's as good as any other aggregation. Googled "evidence that Covid-19 is leaving people sicker" and found one that wasn't paywalled. > newly published study which identified significant brain shrinkage in a cohort of about 400 people aged between 51 and 81 who had recovered from coronavirus. > Heart attacks on the rise across almost every age group. (Change in number of deaths caused by heart attack by age group 2021 compared to 2019) After 2 years of intermittent lockdowns, working from home, and not a whole lot of public events to attend, my heart health deteriorated greatly even before I got Covid-19, so I don't think that's a great statistic.
