I've been using Brave for years and still have no idea what their crypto angle is, because I didn't want or have to find out.
- schleck8 4y agoHave you not updated? Brave's crypto nonsense is super aggressive nowadays with a wallet builtin, decentralized domain resolving, ads for crypto exchanges on the start page, paid crypto background images and their own currency BAT. The browser is getting more bloated by the year, they've added some Brave News service now and integrated their paid VPN with their browser instead of making it a separate product like Mozilla VPN And obviously they started using affiliate marketing, parasite behaviour.
- dreen 4y agoI'm using 1.42 on mobile, I understand the browser has crypto features but they are not visible to me in a noticeable way
