Undeclared pools in France uncovered by AI technology
- rurban 4y agoI did that in the early 1990'ies for my local government without any AI. Just analyzing 3D stereo images from local overflights. There was no Google Maps then, and with Google maps you cannot see how many stories a building has e.g. Just to detect pools there's also not much AI needed, just analyzing cheap satellite images and overlay it with the tax map. Colors give away everything. BTW: AI is the most overrated word of the decade. Amongst lispers we used to call AI just using proper search algorithms and data structures, not even using symbolic expressions anymore.
