Ask HN - Can the CAP theorem applied to our Brain?
When reading the CAP theorem you have probably asked yourself: when is it likely for a network to be partitioned? Couldn't a computer (one node) itself be considered as a network (devices communicating with each other)? Especially when there are more than one CPU? And is a LAN a network which can fail?
Isn't our brain the perfect scenario where CAP applies? (a lot of neurons communicating via synapses)
What do you think?
