While I cannot speak to that link, I can say that Buddhism is an atheistic religion.
- StacyC 15y agoIf I understand the Buddhist teachings correctly (and I may not) there is no ‘religion’ here in the sense of a theology, afterlife, deity, etc. I guess we can define religion in a number of ways but those characteristics seem to me to be essential elements.
- philwelch 15y agoBuddhism is still a non-rational belief system entailing ritual, community, and moral teachings.
