3) flexible hours, I like to start early and work late with lots of breaks in between
As for real estate, I don't want to work from home, if there was a generic, secure workspace within walking/cycling distance of my home I'd prefer to work there. I'd also be spending money in my home town, not the city.
We did a survey at work and the young people didn't like forced working from home, they missed the social interaction and felt they were missing out on 'soft skills' eavesdropping on senior employees conversations and the like.
