My family and I host virtually all of our data on our own property and while there are off-site backups they encrypted with hardware backed cryptographic keys we are not legally obligated to supply to anyone under any circumstances under US law. This is the only way I am aware of to maintain a life with most modern technical conveniences and still have the protections or the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment.
