The first things that pop into my vision is the giant icons. They are unusually huge, but they are just generic clip arts and stock images, not really relevant to the content. I think removing them, or making them much, much smaller would improve the first impression.
The last section has a smaller font size compared with the previous ones.
Instead of saying "built a platform[link]/made apps[link]/taking projects[link]", you need to name the products that you've built. Right now, the only way to know what you've done is clicking a bunch of hyperlinks, which is 1) inconvenient, 2) not always possible, and 3) counter-productive for the purpose of a resume, which is to best represent your skills in a single document. Right now, this is more like a personal homepage than a resume.
Just my first impressions.
- EGreg 4y agoAre there any positives you can list as well? Or is everything you experienced negative relative to the baseline resume?
- powersnail 4y agoThe positive is that the individual that the resume belongs to appear to be quite impressive and productive. The website loads fast, has decent readability (other than the icons), and doesn't have any obvious typos or errors. No weird animations. It does present what technology the person is familiar with.
- endorphine 4y agoNot OP, but a big positive for me is originality. Even if the design isn't optimal or the most appealing, it's really a breath of fresh air looking at a CV like this, where you clearly out your character in it. It's not some off the self template and it shows. I like it, it shows that you care.

They just keep scaling with more horizontal space.
