Germany's Gas Storage Facilities Filling Up Faster Than Planned – Econ Minister
- sylware 4y agoWeird, a previous article told us the gas supply form russia was shutdown for good, and here we see 10% from russia in august. Where is the truth?
- theGeatZhopa 4y agoThis are two different things. One is: There is not enough gas delivered by Russia, but the whole power saving and buying somewhere else is going better and faster than previously thought by the gas guys And the other thing: Gas delivery is throttled by Russia. But still, even with throttling, the first thing happens faster, than the figures suggest.. There is a correlation between, but not as strong as assumed.
- Arnt 4y agoThe previous article you read may have said something like "nord stream 1 is shut down"? Or 2? Russia delivered gas to Europe via about five pipelines. One to Germany has been shut down for good, the other one to Germany is throttled heavily now, I don't know what's happening to the one that passes through Belarus and Poland, the one through Ukraine is working but of course subject to excitingly volatile politics, and the one to Turkey has no onward connections IIRC. If someone like Viktor Orban wants Russian gas this winter, through which pipeline will he get it?
- hulitu 4y agoIt's amazing how propaganda works, isn't it ?
- sylware 4y agoI recall well some guy(s) being adamant on the fact that putin's regime did cut all gas supply to germany. I guess you have to be german to really know... Well... hope so...
