I tried a surface and it's a sh*tshow. Linux support is bad and windows is a joke. I'm thinking the framework laptop if I really have too - but at this point my main problem is battery longevity. I don't think I would buy a non arm laptop at this point, so apple it is. That said, I don't like the idea of buying apple too and that's why I'm buying just a desktop pc
