Image quality on Netflix varies between shows, so I'd guess it was intentional. Possibly the quality gets a little downgraded on a less-than 4K resolution (which also squashes the dynamic range due to lack of HDR).
- oriolid 4y agoStandard subscription. I doubt the dynamic range is because of non-HDR, because it's flat compared to other non-HDR content. Or maybe they compress non-HDR on purpose so that HDR content looks better in comparison?
