Not everyone believes in your religion. Nothing about this has anything to do with equity or 'groups that are discriminated against'. The paywalls are about greed and wealth distribution. Trying to twist the narrative to suck sympathy out of every possible situation will backfire and make people go against otherwise beneficial policies.

Please answer them. > Nothing about this has anything to do with equity or 'groups that are discriminated against'. The paywalls are about greed and wealth distribution. It seems like you think the current wealth distribution is not... equitable. One factor mentioned in the press release was "economic background". > Trying to twist the narrative to suck sympathy out of every possible situation will backfire and make people go against otherwise beneficial policies. Disabled people don't want your sympathy. So far I have not seen equitable policy changes backfire. That's a failed attempt on your part to use scare tactics to shut people up. What I've seen is measurable improvements. But you can continue to panic over progress, that is of course your personal choice.
- xodjmk 4y agoIt is progress to get rid of leeches that are profiting off of publicly funded research. Very simple. The water was clear until Dr. Christopher Steven Marcum, Dr. Ryan Donohue, and you shat in the pool.
- tchaffee 4y agoCalm down. No one shat in any pool. Glad you agree this change is progress towards equity. Worrisome that you got so triggered over the wording that the world is now a little more equitable.
