I have to say I'm flabbergasted at how slow the EU has been.
The first thing the EU should've done, after banning all Russians and bombing the Nordstream, was invade Kaliningrad.
- mk89 4y ago? AFAIK kaliningrad belongs to Russia, which means expanding the current war on several lands. The EU has been actually pretty fast considering how slow it typically is about deciding things...
- t6jvcereio 4y agoKaliningrad belongs to Russia, and donbas belongs to Ukraine. But that's war. You hit, you get hit. "Let's not expand war" is what the aggressor wants, because then the aggressor knows he can escalate as much as he wants, since his opponents won't escalate further. The aggressor gets to control the pace. Yes, escalating war is exactly the right thing to do in this situation. While keeping the door open for Russia to deescalate at any moment it chooses, by leaving Ukraine.
- ghostwriter 4y agoYou can escalate your own war by volunteering into the ukrainian battlefront, don't bring it to the homes of your fellow citizens.
- t6jvcereio 4y agoThis is my own war.
