That seems to be the actual heuristic, but it would not fly politically.
- probably_wrong 4y agoThis would be a terrible heuristic, as it would reward western bad science (it exists, it just looks differently) and punish great scientists who just happen to be born in the "wrong" place. Paradoxically enough, it would be the opposite of science.
