My Road to Lisp (2007)
- _benj 4y agoI’m looking forward to picking up Scheme (currently learning Tcl) and this provides some good ideas/resources to go about it!
- waynesonfire 4y ago... what happened after 2008?

- aidenn0 4y agoStrangely enough the dates of the first 5 languages are nearly the same, but I'm a different age. I got exposed to lisp 8 years earlier than the author though, as I took an AI class in high-school.
- betwixthewires 4y agoI don't have quite the experience with programming languages this guy has, but I've found myself enthralled with functional programming as well. Lisp is really cool, I'm really interested in Scheme in particular, and beyond that Haskell, Erlang and R (I like math). I don't know where this is taking me but it feels exciting.
- hugginn 4y agoI feel the same. If you want to dig even deeper, I find the array languages extremely fascinating. Look at APL for instance. I'm really excited about it coming to android, as it's terse enough to work well on phones, especially since phones can handle any arbitrary keyboard layout.
