- truth777 4y agoWithout the one child policy, there would be an additional 300 million people to feed. The policy is looking a lot more farsighted now. The philosophy of infinite growth is now being tested. There is this idea that we can just innovate our way out of every problem, but we forget, whatever problem we have is multiplied by 8 billion. That is a very challenging constraint.
