- coldtea 4y agoWell, the theory mentioned above is that this is not a coincident, but a causual relationship (perhaps through a self-reinforcing feedback mechanism): that humans got "intelligent enough to do so" (and further progressed way above that level) by being prone enough to do so
- astrange 4y agoMammals are pretty good at causal inference when it gets them fed. Guinea pigs' #1 priority in life is screaming when they hear you open the fridge.
