I'm curious, what did that time playing games give you? Nothing? I spent a lot of time on MUDs and EverQuest. But I gained lifelong friendships from it. Sometimes I think back to all the time I spent with regret. But that helped form who I am today. Without it I would be a very different person. Beyond that, life is not a straight line from A to B. There's twists and turns as everyone tries to figure things out for themselves. And on top of that, sometimes shit happens.
