Lobby to change the law but beware lobbying?
- ectopod 4y agoNot lobbying, lobbyists. lobbyist: A person who is paid to lobby politicians and encourage them to vote a certain way or otherwise use their office to effect a desired result. Emphasis on paid. https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/lobbyist https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/lobbyist
- chrisseaton 4y agoYes you normally need to pay a lobbyist to lobby - because you need permission to access the lobbies. Lobbying isn’t a bad thing. Charities, unions, NGOs all lobby, and they use lobbyists to do it.
