I don't think anyone predicted the current outcome, but I think the largest misjudgement was from the FSB/GRU/Russian intelligence theres signs to point to them legitimately thinking this would only take 3 days and that it would of been a walk in the park.

- tus666 4y agoBasically yes. Although the reverse. USA thought overwhelming technical superiority would make it easy...in fact asymmetric insurgency is very difficult to defeat.
