An MBA could be what it takes to restore joy and vigor into an otherwise limp and depressing job. I've personally investigated alternatives, such as seeking mentorship. As such, I've had quite a few mentors in my life, but most of them turned out to be fekkeless and self-important.
The thing I like about taking chances, making mistakes, and getting messy is the feeling of a bias towards action. It's much better than slapping a smile on a meager existence because soon enough, developers in that position will find themselves so stressed, they might develop disorders like paranoid-schizophrenia. Instead of forcefully laughing your way out of this problem, take action and learn something from it.
