It’s actually interesting how different it is in my circles! I know quite a few people that have been through the same path (different reasons and circumstances), but now they’re in happy relationships. Personally, that’s never been a moral dealbreaker for me, and it isn’t for most of my friends either. Life is weird and if “immoral work” is a way out for them, then good for them! It’s not an easy work, much harder on your psyche than the usual engineering work that we do.
