Agreed, we use Trello (with the Scrum plugin for estimation) and find it really fits the bill, especially for price. We just use one list for 'Doing' and that takes care of the current status thing. It's a pretty great way to work, best interface I've found yet to manage stuff in an Agile way with the interface really getting out of the way. This has a lot of the same things going for it, but ya, for the price is a non-starter. Maybe I'm getting old but all the whiz bang stuff is getting tired as well. (I feel Wufoo does a great job of balancing the cute factor there, but this is is a bit in your face)
