It sounds like you're saying you'd consciously be a better parent to a clone because you know it is a clone.

    I'm not trying to put them on trial but... The OP has no way of knowing if they would be a better parent, but yet they still very strongly think that they would be a better parent to a child that has 100% similar dna than 50% similar dna. How can you know this unless you are biased towards the idea of a clone? "I want a clone, more than anything" suggests there is bias.

      Actually the dna would still be more than 99.9% the same even with another parent.
