- tlogan 4y agoSure - shouldn’t we update rules based on current understating of the virus? They might help tourism a bit.
- jleyank 4y agoDifferent question. Was merely pointing out that the rules apply to all. The Jays have profited from visiting teams missing players and they've made sure their players are vaxed so they can play in the States.
- codefreeordie 4y agoIndeed, he ought to travel to Mexico and walk across the border without papers instead, since that method doesn't incur a vaccination requirement.
- tomohawk 4y agoNone of the millions walking across the southern border are being required to do this. The Biden admin is funding their further travels to destinations all over the US by air, train and bus, and no vax is required. And yet, allowing this one guy in is going to cause another pandemic or something. EDIT: I guess pointing out the pointless hypocrisy of the situation with facts is frowned upon

- codefreeordie 4y agoPresumably because although there are no controls stopping ordinary people from crossing, if a well-known celebrity were to do it and make a big show of doing it, they would draw enforcement action, since that would shine too bright of a spotlight on the extent of the problem.
