- ksaj 4y agoI do not understand why this should be a link through Google. Maybe Google News highjacks the link credit, which would be pretty mischievous for those who aren't fans of Google's tracking in the first place. Now that I've seen this, I'm going to have to make sure my own links don't mistakenly credit Google, since I do sometimes tweet news from my cell phone via Google News. Here is the actual link you surely meant to post, without the Google In The Middle attack: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/passport-waits-delays-line-standers-fake-travel-gaming-travel-doc-system-1.6550262 https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/passport-waits-delays-line-st...
- _whiteCaps_ 4y agoAh, oops, bad c&p on my part, and I only saw the end of the URL in the text box so it looked ok to me.
- ksaj 4y agoAh, the other c&p error that occurs a lot nowadays is if you highlight text in a search, and then it becomes part of the URL so the browser can highlight that text. URL's are getting harder and harder to keep compact.
