"Printing money" makes it sound like an education was manifested out of thin air.
Semantically, I think cancelling student debt is much more of a "transfer payment".
- walkhour 4y agoTransfer payment from the debtor to the government? If the government pays it printing money, then printing money will happen, if it's payed with tax payer's money, well then the tax payers will pay it. Given money is fungible it will be a mixture of both. Semantically you can name it whatever you want.
