I really don't like the two trends Github is pushing for: 1. Code editor is full of telemetry and costs money, only accessible over the internet. 2. Code regressing into lots of boilerplate and automatically copied stack overflow answers by copilot, programmers using less critical thinking skills. I don't trust Microsoft either.
