This will not only affect privacy overall, but also the ability for volunteers to support censored users around the world with Snowflake extension on Chrome. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2021/12/googles-manifest-v3-still-hurts-privacy-security-innovation https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2021/12/googles-manifest-v3-st... - GekkePrutser 4y agoI really hope this would stimulate more people to use Firefox again.
- survirtual 4y agoI’ve been using Firefox for years now from Chrome as part of a full degoogling. It’s great, and the team keeps adding actually useful features to the browser. I did admittedly like the dev experience more on Chrome, but Firefox still does an okay job. I can’t say there is much else I miss. I’ve never been tempted to install chrome. No issues or worries with plugins, data abuse, and all the other concerns.
- GekkePrutser 4y agoSame here. I've not had Chrome installed on my main driver for years now. Firefox is great.
