An important note is that the MacBook pro M2 vs M2 Air appear to be essentially the same hardware with the same price - but the MacBook pro does have a slightly larger battery. And it is quite incredible. I've been very impressed that i can work all day on an M2 MacBook pro on vim - for several days - with only one charge. The battery life is incredible. About to switch to Asahi Linux, so I hope it stays, but I am almost certain the battery life will be better than any x86 computer running Linux I could've gotten.
