I have noticed this too.
There are some searches I run periodically for fun and vanity reasons, and lately there have been hundreds of results from different sites missing, with barely anything coming up for queries which used to return thousands of results.
- forgotmypw17 4y agoUPDATE: This post has stimulated me to do more looking into the issue than I normally would. A lot of the results I was expecting actually do appear in other search results, so I think the cause of the issue is that Google is selectively filtering some results as irrelevant unless another term is included.
