Google search missing results other search engines have
Search for "CRPEODLPK25" with quotes, Google has nothing, but they do have other pages on nxp.nz domain (where CRPEODLPK25 text is).
But Duck Duck Go does have it indexed, as well as Bing and Yahoo.

Why did Google skip that one page nxp.nz?
- cpach 4y agoUnfortunately, Google does not index everything. Perhaps the web has been too big for them to keep up?
- forgotmypw17 4y agoI have noticed this too. There are some searches I run periodically for fun and vanity reasons, and lately there have been hundreds of results from different sites missing, with barely anything coming up for queries which used to return thousands of results.
- forgotmypw17 4y agoUPDATE: This post has stimulated me to do more looking into the issue than I normally would. A lot of the results I was expecting actually do appear in other search results, so I think the cause of the issue is that Google is selectively filtering some results as irrelevant unless another term is included.
- gundmc 4y agoDuck duck go and Yahoo are both powered by Bing. So it's not "all the other search engines indexed this" so much as Bing did but Google didn't.
- unsignednoop 4y ago[NSFW] Not only do they lack results but they also unabashedly censor information. Try a search for “ how big should a cocaine line be?” on google vs bing. Its night and day which search engine actually tries to find results.
- the_omegist 4y agoEven less blatantly "illegal" things get censored for "ideological" reasons. When I know some search might be politicized or out of the "Goodthink", I use bing.
- dazc 4y agoDoesn't always work, BBC is top result for some controversial queries. Enough said...
- FridayoLeary 4y agoOld news. This led me to discover ddg and sparked an interest in how tech works in general which eventually led me here where i have learned so much.
- LargoLasskhyfv 4y agoCan't reproduce. ddg link shows no results at all. Nxp.nz is some shop? Seems like spam. Flagged.
- ratsmack 4y agoInteresting and creative way to drive traffic to your site.
- LargoLasskhyfv 4y agoMaybe. Depends on your POV. From mine it is annoying.
- Jensson 4y agoI found results using bing. Ddg forwards most searches to bing so I figured that was the difference. CRPEODLPK25 is a product code listed on some site. The site is extremely slow to load though so maybe the Google spider just skipped it.
- wingworks 4y agoCould be a location thing, the site loads fast for me, but I'm also based in New Zealand, where the store is. But might explain why google has some pages but not all from the same, if it timed out.
- wingworks 4y agoYeah nxp is some (wholesale?) shop in New Zealand, they've got bricks and mortar presents. I've never used them, was just looking for some courier tickets which is where I noticed Google didn't return all the results. Not sure why your ddg doesn't show results, maybe it's location department? Hmm, weird ddg doesn't seem very consistent, sometimes it has 1 result, sometimes 2, other times 0. Just by changing the "Safe search" and "location" options. But it's not reproducible, sometimes show this, then not for the same option. Bing seems more consistent, with just the 1 result always.
