Restic 0.14.0 Released (with highly anticipated feature – compression)
- aborsy 4y agoLove restic. Every time I have run it in the past few years I have got a nice “Back up and prune finished successfully” message! Amazing open source software!

- n8henrie 4y agoHooray! My local copy is on zstd-compressed ZFS, but I bet this will save me a few bucks for my cloud copy. Thanks restic team!
- jfkw 4y agoCompression method appears to be zstandard and uses https://github.com/klauspost/compress https://github.com/klauspost/compress, for those wondering like I was.
