Why did I create a code generator for Laravel? The story behind Vemto
- verdverm 4y agoI've been watching https://www.twitch.tv/daviddeutsch https://www.twitch.tv/daviddeutsch build a php based code generator. Pretty cool stuff, no laravel in David's. PHP has some neat stuff to support and cache the generated code. I'm hoping I can get some time to dig in soon, it's been 20 years since I used PHP and it certainly has come a long way in that time. My own code gen tool is here: https://github.com/hofstadter-io/hof https://github.com/hofstadter-io/hof (any lang, written in go) This submission has a pretty cool desktop app, but looks to be closed source (https://github.com/TiagoSilvaPereira/vemto-releases https://github.com/TiagoSilvaPereira/vemto-releases)
