Funny observation: I have an Indian name but I am born and raised in Midwest America. Whenever a random call center would call me - I could easily detect whether this was originating from South Asia or not merely by their opening salutation and choice of invoking the "correct/traditional" pronunciation of my name. This data leakage alone, betrayed all of their further attempts at sounding like a "white American" with a fake flattened accent. The illusion was broken.
