I used Apple Mail for years, followed by Thunderbird, Claws Mail, and Outlook on Windows. The switch to Windows was precipitated by the use of some banking apps that only work on Windows. After about 20 years, I've switched back to using Rmail under Emacs. I don't recall the reason for leaving it before, but it's nice to be using it again.
