Is anything new for anyone? My archiving accounts still don't work, I've tried emailing a few times asking for a refund (after many emails asking for a fix), but haven't heard anything back.
- hamsterbase 4y agoI made a selfhosetd Pinboard. 1. full text search 2. free 3. archive all webpages 4. highlight webpages 5. self hosted and 100% offline. https://hamsterbase.com/ https://hamsterbase.com/
- runjake 4y agoThis situation seems pretty frustrating for many. My guess, from his most recent public communications, is that idlewords is taking a mental health break. Step number 1 would be to stop payments to Pinboard if you are not satisfied. Then pursue a refund and wait $x until he responds. There's not much you can do beside that. People raging on the Internet doesn't seem to be grabbing his attention enough to offer a tangible statement, effort, or refund.
