For me I use and rely on types a lot. A good type system means I write code in less time and effort, otherwise I wind up with runtime type errors and sometimes comment in my types anyways. So I have the opposite problem: as a library user, JavaScript is terrible for me, because even when I use TypeScript I get runtime type errors from bad type declarations or even just holes in the TypeScript type system.
