When I read about event sourcing, my mind immediately went to how that would map to a K/V database. Has anyone done this in production? Also - no mention of LM

When I read about event sourcing, my mind immediately went to how that would map to a K/V database. Has anyone done this in production? Also - no mention of LMDB? RocksDB and LMDB feel like the ones that stand out in that field - levelDB definitely had a reputation for corrupting data.
