I don't like physical shopping and online shopping helps me discover and execute.
The physical shopping I generally do is: I'm walking and I want to change, I enter a store I usually go to because they sell things that suit my style or body, I pick something and wear it right there, I pay, and I exit.
It helps me discover by aggregating shops so I don't have to walk miles to discover new things, let alone if the shop is in a different city/country.
It helps me execute because I don't have to track down every shop's contact information, contact them, handle things. This is harder with clothes which I have semi-solved by going to a few shops that sell my style of clothing, or straight up offer someone wearing something I like to buy it so I don't have to go to a store and it doesn't become a "thing". "Can I buy your jacket?"
Clothing is complicated because I have borad shoulders and a thing waist (V-torso). Not muscular. Most stores aren't aware of the complications this have: prêt-à-porter is either the shoulders fitting but the waist is loose, or the waist fits but my shoulders are exploding through the cut. In bespoke shops, the moment you enter, the staff looks at you and know exactly what they're looking at and they tell you that your physique requires adjustments, which is reassuring because you already know, but most employees at clothing shops don't know a thing about cuts, fits, sleeves, etc. and I'm not even talking about button-down shirts.
