Am I the only one not bothering with Windows' estimates at all? It will happily tell me I have two hours remaining and shut down after 40 minutes, without me touching the PC at all. I had this or similar experience with every windows laptop I ever used.
- duxup 4y agoI certainly don't trust them. 30% battery life may as well be near death on my windows laptops. As for hours of use in marketing material I wonder what they'll claim when they actually get close to their current estimates? Just lie about it more? How will we know if they're getting close to the truth?
- LoganDark 4y agoMy laptop does a hard shutdown if the battery goes below 95%. It's gotten to the point that I've had to configure it to hibernate at 98%. This is not very nice on the laptop vendor's part. This laptop is less than 2 years old.
