Google is censoring NATO-critical voices?
searching for
https://youtube.com/results?search_query=pepe+escobar+ukraine
this video (100k views) doesn't show up, but reuploads do
https://youtu.be/5mlFxcVItnQ
i've noticed this with lots of content recently
- vegai_ 4y agoThat's a fascinating way to advertise a political video by a youtuber whose whole shtick is "anti-west". By an account that is 1 hour old.
- fortnum 4y agoAre you saying the OP's observation is not true? Otherwise, I am not sure how your comment is relevant.
- vegai_ 4y ago> Are you saying the OP's observation is not true? Yes, I'm absolutely saying that. Change the query string to - pepe escobar => 3rd hit - pepe escobar ukraine war => 1st hit This is just slightly unfortunate search results projected to fake victimhood advertising. Calling this censorship is absolutely absurd and insulting to every people who are actually being censored right now. Those people live in countries that are antithetical to USA, which makes all this even more absurd and insulting given how rabidly anti-west this particular youtube channel is.
- iswwrn 4y agoi'm not seeing this video (https://youtube.com/watch?v=5mlFxcVItnQ https://youtube.com/watch?v=5mlFxcVItnQ) in search results using american, german and hong kong proxies. I think what you're seeing is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRhbs_m463A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRhbs_m463A?
- fortnum 4y agoNeither of your two search terms returns that video for me.
