- denkmoon 4y agoHoooo boy. You obviously aren't familiar with American Puritanism.
- lincheomang 4y agoWhen I watch American culture on TV channel, it is always fat African-American lady talking about their private parts and shaking ass. Where can I watch American Puritanism?
- calculatte 4y agoWhat they put on TV is not American culture. That is programming, in multiple senses of the word.
- denkmoon 4y agoTry Fox News. Btw, very nice of you to create a fresh new account _just_ to reply with a strawman to my post :)

- aulin 4y agodo these rules and automatic flagging only apply to US citizens?
- 988747 4y agoWell, taking a photo of just the groin, for non-medical reasons would be kind of weird. Taking a photo of the whole baby, e.g. in bath is perfectly normal, even if it also shows the groin.
- xgbi 4y agoMy son (3 at the time) had phimosis, I took a few pictures of it when a friend doctor asked to see what it was. I sent the pics to him for advice and then we consulted officially to get a prescription for a cream when je told me it was fixable (to dr: it wasn’t entirely but it helped). I hope I didn’t overstep some kind of bullshit law where I can’t take pictures for medical advice.. this is ridiculous, and I’m happy that I’m not pushing my pics automatically to google, I might have been banned? I still have the pics somewhere on my phone, probably, amongst others where he’s naked when he was messing with foam in the bath or playing in the garden with water in summer. Isn’t this like 90% of parents?! I feel that this whole CSAM is a new obsession of phone actors because they feel there’s norhing else they can innovate on.
- 988747 4y agoBut that WAS a medical reason...
- checker659 4y agoI'm not saying taking photos of your child's groin is normal. But, whatever the reason may be, a father is allowed to do so (unless the law of the land explicitly prohibits such as thing).
- sverhagen 4y agoSteering away from your actual question, another would be: how is Google's photo algorithm supposed to know it's their son or not? I get that Google knows a lot about us and might be able to piece that together, but CSAM laws might not care.
- ur-whale 4y ago> Isn't a father allowed Define "allowed" By whom in particular.
- checker659 4y agoBy society. If the law prohibits it, that's an entirely different matter.
- ur-whale 4y agoWhich society?
