- danielheath 4y agoWait until you find out about bunker oil pollution!
- imwillofficial 4y agoNot even close
- knownjorbist 4y agoYeah, lithium mining is not even in the same ballpark as bunker fuel used to power large cargo vessels.
- imwillofficial 4y agoYou’re right, but not the way you think. 10 oil spills from massive tankers don’t even begin to match one lithium mine for one week. It’s insaneX and disastrous, and largely ignored.

- panick21_ 4y agoWhat are you talking about? Most lithium either comes from conventional mining in Australia or from underground salt water in deserts that is evaporated. The first is no more polluting then any other type of mining. The second can cause some problems but I would call it polluting. So what are you actually referring to?
- imwillofficial 4y ago"Most lithium either comes" umm no. https://www.wired.com/story/china-lithium-mining-production/ https://www.wired.com/story/china-lithium-mining-production/
- panick21_ 4y agoI was talking about the source, not the supply chain. China dominates the supply chain, not the source of lithium.
