Sadly, I agree. I am all but given up on #3 and basically resort to first 2 options for my own use. Most of my social circle equipped their houses with listening devices at every turn so my describing issues related to smart tv sound to them.. not even sure what. I am not even sure it registers as a valid complaint. At least with my objection to shoving ice cream cake into my 1 year old they listen. With electronics I might as well speak Swahili.
