Setting aside the issues of ethics and fairness, it's worth noting that debt jubilee-type proposals are not a sign of a robust economy. They are a sign of an economy locked in a debt spiral.
- raxxorraxor 4y agoI thought we declared debt to be irrelevant years ago? Why not create a company that buys all the toxic debt after people declare insolvency and then safe that company with tax dollars? Then feign surprise about the toxicity of the debt. Seems to be the goto strategy.
