How is this different from App Store or Google Play? > The actions of Sony is costing millions of people who can't afford it... Not a good argument IMO. Is this referring to the end user buying games or game studios. If it is the latter I think that is a better argument.

"It allegedly "ripped people off" by charging a 30% commission on every digital game and in-game purchase made through the PlayStation Store." That is not their core argument, and yes, it's not different from App Store or Google Play.
