You get this functionality by using Firefox profiles. It's a separate browser instance with completely separated history, extension, ...
It doesn't work like containers though, you can't open a new tab in a new profile.

- happymellon 4y agoI've stated this so many times for decades now. Profile support is something that I would literally pay towards funding support but there isnt a good way of setting up a bounty which I'll pay £100 into each month until the bounty is large enough to motivate someone to do it.

- colordrops 4y agoI have 10 different containers set up - profiles are too clunky for this.
