Bioshock Infinite Turns American Religious History into a Nonsensical Nightmare
- balentio 4y agoI think American Religious History IS for the most part, a Nonsensical Nightmare. The highlight was probably the Quakers, and the low points are the various cults which I'd say Mormonism is likely the more benevolent version of. Therefore, I'd say Bioshock Infinite eschewing the particulars of that history and making it into what it ultimately did do concerning slavery and work in many places achieved something unique. Of course, it also did some things that believers did not do, unless they made a floating city powered by steampunk fans that I don't know anything about.
