There are two types of productivity posts on HN: 1. "here's how you can get ahead of everybody else" 2. "Productivity porn is toxic" I think by now most of us understand that both ideas are true to a certain degree. The hard part is figuring out how to balance the two. The problem is, most posts of one nature fail to address the other.
